Venison Stroganoff

1# venison (or beef) stew meat
1 lg onion – chopped
½ c red and yellow peppers – chopped
8 oz mushrooms – sliced
1 T beef soup base
4 c water +/-
1-2 c sour cream
8 oz linguine or fettuccine noodles – cooked and drained





Cube the meat and put in a pan with a little olive oil and butter. Stir-sauté over medium heat a few minutes. Add vegetables and sauté 30 minutes longer to bring the water out of the vegetables. Add water, beef soup base and sour cream. Heat and stir then pour over noodles. Bake 20-30 minutes longer at 350°. . .Lin
