Quick-Easy Shrimp Gumbo



1/2 lg  green pepper
1 med onion
14.5 oz  can petite diced tomatoes
14.5 oz  can tomatoes and okra
1/2 t     ground pepper
5 med cloves of garlic - chopped
1/2 c    orzo (pasta) or rice
drizzle of Maple syrup
2    c    shrimp - precooked







Saute' chopped pepper and onion in 1T each - butter and extra virgin olive oil.  Add tomatoes, tomatoes and okra and pepper.  Simmer 10 minutes.  Add garlic and orzo or rice.  Simmer on low until orzo / rice is cooked.  Add shrimp, stir, cook a few minutes. . .Lin
