¼# good smokey bacon
1-1½c
chopped celery
1¼#
multicolored fingerling potatoes
4± cloves
fresh grated garlic
3c chicken
broth – divided
1c sour
cream
salt and
pepper
Cut the bacon into tiny pieces. Brown over medium heat. Scoop the bacon pieces onto paper towels to absorb excess grease. Add celery a little butter and potatoes, cut in small pieces, to the pan and saute' a few minutes. Add 2c chicken broth, cover and simmer 30-45 minutes. Halfway through this time, add the garlic. Add another 1c cold chicken broth, bacon pieces, grated garlic and sour cream. Stir, heat again to a simmer and serve. . .Lin
