ReplyDeleteWhat is Turbinado sugar?
It's great stuff Sandi! You can find it in a lot of regular grocery stores, even Walmart! I don't buy white granulated sugar anymore. I either use this or the finer 'raw cane sugar' I've found at Aldi's. White sugar is too refined and it's also BLEACHED. NOT a healthy option. Here's some info you might find interesting. I'm not much of a baker, but on the rare occasion when I bake date, banana, zucchini bread or muffins, it's something I top those with before baking for a nice crunch. It's in a more crystal, crunchy form that it's processed, bleached cousin https://www.livestrong.com/article/253642-the-nutritional-facts-of-turbinado-sugar/
