Blended Version - Asparagus-Mushroom Vegetable Soup




Sometimes when I make, what I think will be, a really great vegetable soup, the flavors just don't come together.  The ingredients in the original soup are wonderful, but the overall taste of it was fragmented.  Today I blended it and it's like a completely different soup!  Somehow a bit saltier - maybe it all had to heat and chill a couple times before that came through - but it's so much better than the chunky version!  As I always say, Be Creative!  If at first something just doesn't taste right, maybe it needs a bit of acid?  Vinegar or lemon juice.  More salt?  Too acidic?  Add a little sugar.
