Hamburger-Vegetables


If you're still eating red meat, this can be a relatively healthy way to serve it. Remember to buy only lean, grass-fed meat whenever possible.



½# lean ground beef
1 medium rough chopped onion

Brown meat in a little butter and Balsamic vinegar. Add onion, simmer, stirring, until done.



2 carrots sliced
6-8 large Brussels sprouts, quartered

Meanwhile, steam vegetables in a pan with a little water. Cover, continue to cook until a fork slips easily in and out of a piece of carrot. Serves 2 . . . Lin
