1# ground, cubed or
shredded lamb
2 med. onions – chopped
2 carrots –
slice-chopped
2 stalks of celery –
slice-chopped
1½t Rosemary Seasonings
or salt & pepper
1t sugar
2 14oz. cans diced
tomatoes
3/4c half & half
Brown the lamb over
medium heat with a little of the onion. Once the fat and water are
drawn out of the meat by the heat, add the remaining chopped
vegetables and seasonings. When most of the liquid has cooked down,
add the sugar and tomatoes. Stir, cover and simmer 1-2 hours. Mix
in half & half at the very end of the cooking time. Check the
seasonings and add more if needed. Heat again and serve over rice,
pasta or mashed potatoes. . .Lin
