1 very heavy head of red
cabbage
3-5 kohlarabi's
1 onion
¼c butter
½c white sugar
½c white vinegar
1/4c grape or current jelly
walnut halves or pieces
walnut halves or pieces
fetta cheese
Cut the cabbage into ½”
cubes, peel and slice or cube the kohlarabi and chop the onion.
Combine these with the next 4 ingredients. Bring to a simmer and mix
until the butter melts. Cover and simmer on low for a couple hours,
uncovering at the end if the water hasn't evaporated. Pour into a
serving dish, top with walnuts and fetta cheese crumbles. This is
