Most serious cooks will start searching for a good set of knives at some point. Don't waste your money on the big names. A good set of three of theirs will cost you around $300. Instead try THE best inexpensive knives I've ever used. Kiwi knives made in Thailand. You can usually find them at Asian markets. I have several of the curved 8" chef type knives, a couple that are like long thin steak knives and one that's very long and works well for carving turkeys. Those three came to less than $20. Give them a try. You won't be sorry.
