Soup Bases


Sometimes a healthy pot of soup or chili is lacking a little in flavor.  If you find this to be the case, here are some possible options.  Read labels if MSG or gluten are concerns for you, there are some companies that eliminate those ingredients.

The cabbage soup I just made was needing a little something so I used the cilantro soup base, which brightened up the flavor considerably.  Experiment a little using small amounts each time until you get the flavors just right.  Have fun with it.  Happy cooking!  .  .  .  Lin
