Shrimp and Beans!

Today was another busy cooking, reading and YouTube video day for me.  What did we do before YouTube instructional videos?

All of a sudden I was hungry.  Shrimp! It had to be shrimp. Not with rice, not an angel hair pasta scampi thing, shrimp tacos sounded good, but that would take too long, after so much kitchen time.

Shrimp and something green, broccoli or green beans.  Beans won.  I steamed them in just a little water.  When they were almost done, I made space in the middle of the pan, added EVOO and the shrimp.  Sizzle-sautéed just a few minutes, seasoned with Little's Baja Fish Street Taco seasoning mix. I'll use this a lot! I had an empty salt shaker that I thought I'd fill. There's enough in the packet to fill this one twice!   Chopped fresh shallots on top and. . .

Oh boy!  This went together in 10 minutes - and it's something I'll make again (and again!) Quick Food is not fast food.  It's healthy food that comes together quickly. . .Lin

Little's Cuisine - A Stellar Company

Yes, A Stellar Company, that produces the best Chili Lime Seasoning I've ever had!

I first found their Chili Lime Seasoning on a trip to Appleton when I made a stop at Jacobs Meat Market, which was a tiny, old-world Foodie Heaven!  I left with amazing meats, a big lamb roast, chorizo, andouille, several rice varieties, a t-shirt that - when I wore it, had me wondering if people might think it was a wearable version of sandwich-board advertising for a Male Strip Club 😬

My best find however, were two little plastic spice containers of Little's Chili Lime Seasoning.  Awesome Stuff!!  I emptied those in no time.  By then I was hooked - with no supplier!  Thank God for the internet.  I found and bought it online.

Recently I received a survey from Little's Cuisine indicating they were going to expand their product line and would like to hear from customers.  Of their 10 products they ask that we pick our top 5.  I listed Little's Chili Lime in all 5 spots and mentioned it was the best I'd ever found.  Claude, the owner of the company, sent me back a sweet email complimenting me on my food blog. (my blog's web address is part of my email signature line)  He asked for my address to send me "some Chili Lime."
