Farmers' Market Finds Today

If you have a local Farmers' Market, you're a lucky person.  We have 2 every week.  On Wednesday afternoons and one on Saturday mornings, so we're VERY lucky people.  Even if you have to drive a ways to another area, it's well worth the effort for organic untreated vegetables, eggs and meat.

This is what I found this afternoon.

If I had a little more time, I'd make a coleslaw using the cabbage, carrots, a turnip and some beets I bought on Saturday.

I'm not sure how that would turn out, but all those raw shredded vegetables sound so good with an oil and vinegar type dressing, so it might be worth a try.
