I buy mine at our local Walmart.
Buy only those that are firm and heavy for
their size. The bulbs I've bought there are always very fresh and
inexpensive. The last GIANT one I bought for $2.88 was a beauty! I
have a little more than I can use in the next few days, so I'll
freeze some. Peel and cut the stem end off each clove. Bag in a
Ziplock, pop in the freezer! When needed, remove clove(s)
slice-dice-chop and add to stew, sauce, soup. . .Lin
